General reflections from my hospital experience and transition home: This experience has reinforced what I already knew, that the healthcare system is broken. There's an immense lack of record sharing, communication, care coordination, proper billing, and insurance system coordination. Overall, I have had amazing care from incredible, passionate, and warmhearted individuals who I believe want to provide the best, thorough care that everyone deserves. The system, itself, is broken.
